Rebecca Burrow
I love God, food, and nature. Wonderfully, those things go together so well. God gave us nature and nature grows such great food. Does that mean God grows great food? Yes, I think it does.
I am joyfully married to a wonderful Christian man and we attend church at a small local church in Belton, TX. We both strive to increase our Christian faith through prayer, study, fellowship, and living how the Bible says a Christian should live in order to show the wonder and glory of God. Part of this I extend into my philosophy on permaculture. God told us to be stewards of the Earth, not to be controlled by it, worship it, use it ruthlessly, or ignore it. We were put in a garden. I believe part of living a good Christian life includes being a good steward of the land God has given us and I strive to do that through permaculture and ecology.
Not to mention part of the rebel in me wants to grow my own organic, ecologically minded food with heirloom plants while the USA continues to become less and less so. Control your food and you control your life.
